The sales team is responsible for new client acquisitions and increasing company sales turnover. This means all the sales and business development team members are positive, proactive, motivated able to work well in a fast-paced changing environment.
Successful candidates will have drive and enthusiasm. They will achieve goals and reach objectives. Good client facing and communication skills are mandatory for these high earning positions.

Identify and acquire new clients for Status Media.
Build and maintain a sales pipeline in line with company objectives, targets and goals.
Form strategic relationships with the team at Status Media, potential agencies and clients.
Demonstrate a motivated and positive outlook, enhancing and promoting the company’s reputation with potential customers.
Maximise client revenue opportunities.
Assist clients to develop effective online strategies demonstrating an understanding of additional sales channels and client commercial business objectives.
Implement new and creative ways to increase sales and overcome market challenges and customer objections.
Grow client revenues by “up-selling” and promoting additional services.
Maintain, report and monitor sales and business development activities and take action as appropriate.
Become an expert on the online advertising market.
Support and add value to the board and senior management team assisting to achieve company business objectives.
Effectively communicate, support, integrate and add value to the company account management, forecasting and finance teams.
Experience Preferred:
Identify and contact potential new business clients.
Generate and effectively diary plan new business sales appointments.
Conduct client sales presentations and close sales orders.
Design sales pitch documentation, quotations and proposals where necessary.
Conduct assessments of client Internet marketing strategy. Assess campaign effectiveness and identify and exploit selling opportunities.
Working with clients and the account management teams to develop client online strategies engaging in client discussions and ensuring good communication across all levels both internally and externally.
Promote the good name of the company and to highlight positive achievements. Assisting to ensure client satisfaction whilst maintaining excellence.
Demonstrate ways to overcome challenges and maintain a positive attitude. Strive for continuous improvement.
The position may be based in either London or Norwich. Some travel may be required to meet with clients in London and potentially Europe and US.
